Shabbat
Hillel offers dynamic student-led Shabbat services and a delicious kosher dinner each Friday night during the semester.
Our Shabbat celebrations often involve unique themes and special programs. We have hosted guest speakers,
a capella and improv comedy performances, and a wide range of discussions. We also regularly welcome visiting groups from other Hillels and synagogues around the country.
High Holidays
Hundreds of students, faculty and staff, and local community members come together to share the High Holidays with Hillel each year.
We host inclusive services, a student-only dinner on the first evening of Rosh Hashanah, and a light meal to break the fast at the conclusion of Yom Kippur.
Students who find themselves on campus for the holidays will always find a vibrant community with which to celebrate!
Passover, Sukkot, Chanukah & More
Jewish holidays offer fun and meaningful opportunities for students to celebrate together.
Hillel hosts Passover Seders,
Chanukah candle lightings, a major Purim party, and other great holiday events throughout the year. We also construct a Sukkah in the center of campus for the duration of Sukkot.
